What a fulfilling day!
GOTREND places a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability issues. On October 14th, organized the "Clean Mountain Action."
This hiking and clean-up event involved not only the GOTREND team and their families but also volunteers from Tamkang University, totaling around 40 participants. Together, they ventured to Guanyin Mountain.
As everyone strolled through the mountains, they carried garbage bags and collected litter along the trails to purify the natural surroundings. This allowed them to simultaneously breathe in the natural aromas and appreciate the beauty of the forest, providing a deeply soothing experience.
After more than two hours of dedicated effort, the group successfully removed various types of waste, including cigarette butts, beverage cans, plastic bags, and PET bottles, totaling 4.5 kilograms of garbage.
The General Manager expressed that this charitable mountain clean-up event not only encouraged colleagues to engage in outdoor activities, de-stress, and enjoy their work, but it also served as an educational opportunity about the environment. It allowed everyone to connect with the land they live on and, through practical action, encouraged self-reflection on their own lifestyles. The event aimed to promote the habit of taking trash with you during hikes, fostering an understanding of the importance of sustainability, and instilling a sense of cherishing the Earth among colleagues.
We believe that every small action can contribute to the future of our planet, and we hope that events like this inspire more people to love and care for the Earth through tangible actions.
Our environmental belief :
If every person picks up one piece of trash every day, the world's nearly 8 billion population could reduce 8 billion pieces of litter!
