"Earth Hour" originates from a global public service initiative launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Through the act of turning off lights, it aims to raise awareness about climate change and encourage energy conservation. It calls on people to turn off unnecessary lights simultaneously with countries worldwide to reduce carbon emissions and protect the planet.

Since 2011, Taiwan has participated for 13 consecutive years, with the annual one-hour lights-out event across resulting in a reduction of 665,020 kilograms of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting over 60,456 trees.

GOTREND invites everyone to turn off their lights for one hour on March 23rd at 8:30 PM local time, advocating for behavioral changes in daily habits. Together, let's create a low-carbon sustainable living environment and contribute collectively towards environmental conservation.
