GOTREND Technology Co., Ltd. announces the releases of On-Board Charger(OBC) GCL/GTX Series has interface with Battery Management System(BMS). Besides, BMS can incorporate more vehicle functions than simply managing the battery and determine the vehicle's desired operating mode, whether it is accelerating, braking, idling or stopped.
A high voltage on-board charger converts electrical power from AC power to DC power that charges the battery in the hybrid automotive vehicle. There are two charging methods:an alternating current (AC) on-board charger (slow and fast charging) and a direct current (DC) off-board charger(BMS) (fast charging) as illustrated in Figure 1.
