The well-known movie "Toy Story" tells the enchanting and adventurous journey of a group of toys that come to life when their owner is away. This beloved film has captured the hearts of audiences of all ages around the world. However, in real life, many toys undergo complex manufacturing processes, including painting and packaging, and are often made from non-recyclable plastics. As children grow up, these once cherished toys are frequently forgotten or discarded, facing the risk of being wasted. In truth, these toys still hold value and can be passed on to those in need, allowing them to continue serving their purpose and significance.
Inspired by this idea, GOTREND Technology has partnered with the New Taipei City Toy Bank to launch a second-hand toy donation initiative. This program encourages all employees to donate unused toys from their homes, giving these overlooked items a chance to find new homes. The company collects and organizes the donated toys and then sends them to the New Taipei City Toy Bank. There, the toys are carefully cleaned, sorted, and repaired before being donated to children in rural schools and to vulnerable groups in social welfare organizations. This initiative not only extends the life and value of the toys but also embodies the principles of sustainable development, allowing love and joy to be passed on and continued within the community.
