In 2022, the “Clean Ocean and Protect the Earth Action” of the ESG Committee invites everyone to care about the marine environment and participate in the environmental protection activities of the clean beach with enthusiastic colleagues, and jointly respond to the important concept of “clean sea habitat”.
Arriving at the North Coast Pavilion early in the morning of April 17, colleagues couldn‘t help but shout, “There is really more garbage than expected!”
With gloves and garbage bags, each colleague bends down to pick up the waste on the ground, almost 90% of which is plastic waste, which makes people more deeply aware that it cannot be caused by the greed for convenient use of disposable plastic products, resulting in serious pollution of the ocean and ecology, after picking up and collecting waste, the garbage will be weighed, about 526 kg.
Watching the coast become clean, all the hard work disappeared, and a trace of relief and hope was ignited in my heart! Not littering can’t completely improve the problem of garbage pollution, but to return to the source, reduce the concept of waste, and reuse, don’t waste, and don’t over-buy in life, is the real way to reverse the predicament.
