At GOTREND, talent cultivation and development have always been key objectives in our business operations. That's why we're proud to announce that we've joined the “TALENT, in Taiwan – Taiwan Talent Sustainability Action Alliance” for the third consecutive year! We're committed to building a workplace that's more diverse, inclusive, fair, and supportive. 1 、Meaning and Value
Since its establishment in 2000, GOTREND has upheld the entrepreneurial spirit of meticulousness, diligence, and responsibility, continuously striving for the development of product QCDS and earning recognition from our customers. Throughout this journey, we have been supported by numerous customers both domestically and internationally, which has contributed to our growth and success. However, as we reap the rewards, we have also become aware of the burdens on the environment, social issues, and the importance of a people-centric approach in our operations. This has led us to reflect on the meaning of "management" and the need for a broader perspective.
We have incorporated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indicators into our corporate operations evaluation criteria. Apart from promoting sustainable business practices, this integration brings positive benefits to society, the environment, and the economy, which aligns with our vision and provides us with a clearer direction.
GOTREND team has engaged in collective learning to understand the spirit of ESG. We examine the development and production of our inductors, filters, and transformer components to minimize the generation of toxic substances, waste, scraps, and energy consumption. We strive for continuous improvement, aiming to better control these aspects. We also promote this mindset among our employees and encourage them to apply it to their personal lives. We have more green initiatives in the pipeline, including waste reduction, production waste management, process review for reduced losses, and initiatives addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, charitable donations, and a people-centric approach to enhance employee well-being and welfare, fostering inclusive and prosperous business optimization. All these initiatives demonstrate our commitment to ESG management.
2 、Diversity and Inclusion
Since 2022, we have implemented a Family Care Program, introducing flexible work arrangements, establishing childcare support resources and nursing rooms, and supporting employees returning to work after family care responsibilities. We also offer family care leave and parental leave to help employees balance career and family life. By the end of 2024, GOTREND Technology achieved a 100% parental retention rate and a 35% family care leave application rate, demonstrating strong employee recognition of these policies. We will continue to optimize our inclusive talent programs to create a workplace where every employee can reach their full potential.
3 、Compensation and Incentives
We offer a competitive and well-rounded rewards system to attract and retain top talent. Our compensation structure includes regular evaluations for promotions, performance bonuses, year-end bonuses, and team incentives based on the company's annual performance, team results, and individual contributions. Each month, we host our “GOTREND STAR ” recognition program, where employees can nominate colleagues for their outstanding efforts. The nomination and reward process is clearly defined and transparent, and all selected employees are publicly acknowledged during monthly meetings, providing timely recognition and motivation.
4 、Physical and Mental Wellbeing
GOTREND Technology is committed to providing a workplace that values health, safety, and sustainable development. We offer our employees comprehensive group insurance and regular health check-ups. We also organize occasional family days and sports events to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Our goal is to help employees enjoy a healthy work-life balance and build a positive, happy workplace.
5 、Development and Growth
We offer internal training programs across all departments, ensuring every employee has the opportunity to understand our products and technologies. We also provide subsidies for external training and actively encourage self-development. To support career growth, we hold regular two-way communication between employees and their supervisors or the general manager, helping each team member develop their strengths and reach their full potential.
