Power ferrite cores are generally made of manganese-zinc material, which is suitable for power applications; while the ferrite cores for power transformers generally operate at a frequency of 1KHz to 1 MHz, most of them are larger in size and the shape is combined with two cores of the combined type.
Power ferrite cores are used in high-frequency transformers, and are widely used in switching transformers.
According to the developer's use of different frequencies and characteristics, high-purity iron oxide powder, manganese oxide powder, and zinc oxide powder are mainly used for refining. After forming and sintering, the core is made of high-efficiency material; and due to the different voltage, current, wattage, frequency and ambient temperature of the environment, materials for different applications are developed, such as: wide temperature and low loss, high temperature and low loss, wide frequency and low loss, high frequency, high Bs and various oxide ferrite core materials.
