The main upgrade of Qi2 lies in the addition of the MPP (Magnetic Power Profile) protocol, which provides better compatibility and higher charging efficiency. 
Its core standard revolves around the MPP and is comparable to Apple MagSafe technology. Both belong to the magnetic suction-type wireless charging technology. This means that magnetic suction-type wireless charging will no longer be exclusive to iPhones in the future, and more Android phones will also benefit from it.

In the past, the limitations of the Qi 1.x standard made it difficult for consumers and retailers to distinguish certified devices, leading to market confusion and even safety concerns. With the unified specification of Qi2, not only can chargers be perfectly aligned to improve charging efficiency, but it also enables faster charging and contributes to reducing environmental pollution. This provides global consumers with a more convenient and eco-friendly user experience.
